Our land acquisition process

A straightforward path from inquiry to closing.

01

Tell us about your land

Share the property location, county, approximate acreage and anything else you know. A parcel ID or address helps us locate rural and undeveloped properties.

02

We review the property

We consider location, road access, land characteristics, nearby sales and other details to determine whether the opportunity fits our North Texas or statewide Texas acquisition interests.

03

Discuss a potential offer

If it's a fit, we can discuss price, timing and purchase terms. Requesting an offer is free and does not obligate you to sell. Not every submission will receive an offer.

04

Due diligence and closing

If we agree on terms, the transaction can proceed through appropriate due diligence, title review and closing arrangements. The specifics depend on the property and the purchase agreement.

Property information

What should you have ready?

You can start with just the county, general location and approximate acreage. If available, a parcel number, survey, road-access information or details about utilities can help us evaluate the land.

Don't have all the details? That's okay. We welcome properties outside our preferred criteria as well, and we'll determine whether there's a potential fit.

Common questions

Before you request an offer

Do I need to list the land with an agent?

No. United Land Fund reviews potential direct purchases. If you are working with an agent, they are welcome to submit an opportunity for review.

Is there a minimum acreage requirement?

Our main interest is rural acreage of roughly two acres or more, but we review other Texas properties when they may be a fit.

How long does the process take?

Timing depends on the location, property details, title, due diligence and agreed purchase terms. We do not promise a particular closing date before reviewing the property.

Will requesting an offer obligate me to sell?

No. An inquiry is not a contract. Any transaction requires mutually agreed terms and appropriate documentation.
